Slightly. Berawa breaks on sandbars with less reef exposure, so the consequence on a wipeout is gentler. It's a fair step up from Old Man's: bigger faces, similar-friendly etiquette, easier than the punchy Echo takeoffs next door.

Mid, ideally on the push. Low tide gets close-outs over the sandbar, high tide goes mushy. A mid-tide window from 0.7 to 1.3m on the chart is the sweet spot.
